Olivia Pollard, PhD, RHIA, CDIP, CPHI, CHTS-IM
Olivia L. Pollard, PhD, RHIA, CDIP, CPHI, CHTS-IM, earned her Bachelor of Science in Busines and Information Systems from University of Phoenix, a Master of Art in Health Information Management from College of St. Scholastica, and PhD in Management and Information Systems from Walden University. She is currently adding to her educational background, a Masters in Instructional Design form Purdue University. Her research interests include Data quality and data management in healthcare systems. Dr. Pollard is an adjunct HIM and instructional design professor for Franklin University and serves on several dissertation committees as a chair and committee member, as well as a doctoral advisor. Dr. Pollard also teaches statistics for SPSS at Walden University as a Post-Doctoral Fellow, and tutors in the technology center at Purdue University. Currently she is working as an Instructional Designer for University of Delaware on projects such as converting the Advanced Telehealth course to an online version. Dr. Pollard has worked with Western Governors students and their virtual PPE mentor in their HIM program to help usher students through the program to graduation. You can also find Dr. Pollard teaching, assisting in the blended learning courses, and assessing student papers for Grand Canyon University. She is also working with Purdue University and has worked with Northeastern University as an Instructional Designer. Previously Dr. Pollard has worked as an adjunct and lead faculty for schools such as Rasmussen College. SNHU, Ashford University, and Remington College.
