Mecredi Cruder

Mecredi Cruder, RHIA, CPC, is an active-duty lieutenant colonel in the Army and has been in the HIM profession for 18 years. She is currently the Program Director of the Patient Administration Branch at the US Army Medical Center of Excellence at Ft. Sam Houston, Joint Base San Antonio, Tx. She has vast experience in the HIM field to include positions as Director of HIM Division, Director of Revenue Cycle Management, Trauma Registrar. She also is an Adjunct-Professor at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis and part-time faculty at APUS.  She actively involved in both the state and national HIM associations. She holds the RHIA and CPC certification and has a MS in Healthcare Management from Touro International University and MS in Health Information Management from the University of Pittsburgh.
