Braden Tabisula, MBA, RHIA, CHDA
Braden Tabisula is an Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California, and is currently Program Director of the Health Informatics, MS program. He completed his baccalaureate studies at Loma Linda University in Health Information Management, and his MBA from the University of Redlands in Redlands, California. Currently, Tabisula is enrolled as a PhD student at Claremont Graduate University in the Computer Information Systems and Technology program. After spending three years in operations, Tabisula began his career in academia in 2013.
In the past, he served as Secretary and Financial Director for the CHIA Component Local Association, the Inland Area Health Information Association (IAHIA) from 2013-2016. Tabisula has offered various educational presentations at CHIA’s annual conventions as well. He also was the recipient of the 2019 Literary Award given out by CHIA. In the 2020 AHIMA Elections, Braden Tabisula was elected to be a CCHIIM Commissioner starting in 2021.
