Elizabeth Taylor, MS, RHIT, CHC, has over 25 years experience in the healthcare industry specializing in health information/informatics, compliance, privacy, security and the revenue cycle. As a health care professional Ms. Taylor has had the privilege to serve several terms in her state association (CtHIMA) as president, president-elect and past president. She also continues to volunteer in other capacities to further support and enhance the health care industry and the students and members of the CSA and AHIMA.

As a member of the CtHIMA executive board, Ms. Taylor also served as a delegate to the AHIMA House of Delegates (HOD). Her career path has afforded her opportunities in the forensic, behavioral health, community and acute care hospital, pediatric and private equity health care settings. As such she has been called upon to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in other specialty focus endeavors including serving as a team member of implementing a “hospital in a hospital” unit, as well as mergers and acquisitions. She has experience with system implementations and conversions--in both hospital-wide applications as well as departmental, specialty applications. Ms. Taylor is recognized as a subject matter expert in health information, compliance, privacy and organizational leadership.
